Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn joined our team in the spring of 2025. She graduated from the Veterinary Assistant program at St. Lawrence College in 2024. Kaitlyn also has a strong interest in shelter medicine and works part-time and volunteers with the Kingston Humane Society.

Kaitlyn has always wanted to work with animals. At TIVS, she finds a lot of fulfillment in supporting animals and their needs and keeping their visits with us as happy and positive as possible. Kaitlyn loves learning more about diagnostic testing, especially anything having to do with microscopes and X-rays. Kaitlyn is passionate about learning and takes every opportunity to expand her knowledge in order to be better able to help our clients when they call or come in.

She has a particular interest in canine training and behaviour. In her work at Kingston Humane Society, she has enjoyed working with dogs that are reactive or need some extra help with training. Outside of work, Kaitlyn puts her training skills to use by training her black lab named Dock to compete in dock diving competitions. She also shares her life with her Golden Retriever named River. She also loves taking her dogs on a lot of hikes.
