Sarah J

Sarah joined our team in the spring of 2025. She graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at St. Lawrence College in Kingston in 2018.

Sarah says that she decided to go into veterinary medicine because she has always had a passion for helping all animals, whether they are big or small, and she wanted to be an advocate for them. She is particularly good at client education and teaching pet owners more ways to keep their pets healthy and happy. She loves that her job allows her to be a part of pets’ lives from their first vet visits as youngsters, through their golden years. Sarah loves all aspects of her job, but she is particularly interested in feline and canine behaviour. She is Fear Free Certified. Sarah also has a special place in her heart for our kitty patients, and feline internal medicine and feline nutrition are areas that she finds fascinating. Outside of work, Sarah has a lot of interests. Sarah loves doing crafting projects with her Cricut, reading, going to the gym and spin classes, playing and collecting board games, bird watching, and hiking.

Sarah and her partner Trevor share their lives with their domestic shorthaired tuxedo kitty named Penelope (Penny) and Salem, a black domestic short-haired kitty.
