Sarah K

Sarah graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at St. Lawrence College in 2024 and immediately joined our team here at TIVS! While still a student, Sarah also worked at the Kingston Regional Pet Hospital and comes to our team with some experience with emergency medicine already.

When asked why she chose this profession, Sarah says that medicine has always amazed her, and she remembers being excited when she realized that she could couple her love of animals with medical care. She feels privileged to be able to give back to our animals, who give so much love to us.

At work, Sarah has a particular interest in anesthesia and dentistry. She loves showing people all of the different ways that they can care for their pet’s oral health at home. Sarah is also proud to be Fear Free certified and works hard to make your pet’s appointments as positive as possible.

Sarah and her partner share their home with a sheltie named Temba and two kitties named Burnt Toast and Archie.

Outside of the clinic, Sarah loves houseplants and music, and she is very skilled at crochet crafts.
